Innovative technical textiles for medical products

Hydrophilic Polyurethane foams offer superior absorbency and comfort making them a perfect choice for e. g. wound dressing. Thanks to their excellent absorption and retention characteristics these foams can absorb 20 times their own weight in fluid- features that enable them to set high standards in the medical field. Our „pour to thickness“ manufacturing process allows us to produce in a wide range of thicknesses, from 1.5 mm to 7.0 mm. The thin foams can be combined with nonwovens to form multi-layer constructions, e. g. for medical applications, such as low profile wound dressings.
